Northwest Developers formerly known as the New  Hope Development Corporation  (NWD) is a 501 (c)(3) not for profit corporation which is part of the ownership structure of New Hope Village apartments  focused on the welfare of its tenants  and of the broader community by supporting various programs that decrease gun violence, promote mental health, increase breast cancer awareness, reduce food insecurity, improve education and educational opportunities, overcome addiction to drugs and alcohol and promote recreational opportunities for seniors and youth.  The Board members of Northwest Developers Inc were former Board members of New Hope Development Corporation No. 1 and have been engaged in supporting those in need for more than thirty years. New Hope Village apartments was the vision of the former pastor of  the New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, Reverend Dr Charles Everett Thomas.
